Having gained a degree in Law from Newcastle University in 1986, Katharine completed the Law Society’s Solicitors Final Examinations at Chester College of Law in 1987. After completing her training, Katharine joined Dickinson Dees in 1990 and in partnership with Lyn Rutherford, the Family Law Department was established.
Katharine established her own niche specialist divorce and Family Law practice in 2007.
Lowthian Gray Family Law acts for a wide range of clients, with most being recommended by fellow lawyers, judges, barristers, accountants and
other professionals.
Katharine was for nine years a member of the Law Society Family Law Committee, a
specialist body that advised on matters of law and procedure. Katharine was a contributor
to the Law Society Protocol published in 2004.
She has 20 years of experience of dealing with divorce, financial settlements,
children matters and all other areas of Family Law.
